This guide will show you step-by-step how to connect your map to Layar.
If you have not already done so then you should first create a map using the myGeoBook editor for facebook:
The next step is to click on the little share icon 
next to the name of your map and pick "Connect map to Layar Augmented reality". This will give you the map id that you need to complete the instructions below.
1. Go to http://dev.layar.com and login (if you do not have a Layar developer account you will need to create one).
2. Go to "My layers" (the button in the upper right corner at the time this document was written) and then choose "Create a layer".
3. Enter the layer name, title and description that are best suited for your layer.
4. In the API endpoint URL field you will have to use the following URL:
http://layar.mygeobook.com/
LayarProvider.svc/
GetPointsOfInterest/
MAPID
. You will have to replace the
MAP ID with the id that you got above.
5. Choose "Create layer".
After your map has been approved by Layar you can open the Layar application on iPhone or Android and search for your map name. The result will look similar to this:
